The seeds were planted long ago to make The Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GNPCC) grow and flourish into the blossoming organization it is today!For over 80 years, business people have come together to help seed the Chamber with their knowledge and experience as well as reap the benefits of the many diverse companies that make up our organization.Besides trading business cards, we exchange ideas for the betterment of ourselves, our companies, organizations and our community as a whole. The chance for success and growth is directly proportionate to the support effort we put in. Many people join the Chamber and sit back for the phone to ring and the dollars to roll in...but that’s not how it works. We all need to get involved, to roll up our sleeves and make things happen. We need to show up at the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Chamber events, serve on committees and to network with fellow members. We need to ask ”how can we help others in achieving their goals.” Not only will we prosper individually, but the GNPCC will flourish too. “Ask not what the Chamber can do for you but what you can do for your Chamber."

The Chamber staff pulled out all the stops to ensure the quality and timeliness of the book. Most importantly the membership showed their support and committment. This directory could not be produced without the help and resolve of the members of this Chamber. I think it’s quite admiral that many of the companies who would not necessarily sell their wares to the Chamber members took advertisements simply to support our organization.
I’ve always believed that Chamber Members will use fellow members first when buying goods and services. I hope this idea spreads and we can all reap the fruits for another 80 years.
